Paul is our Head of Construction. Paul has well in excess of thirty years’ experience in construction and engineering law matters. Having spent almost ten years at a major City of London practice, Paul has experience in working in and around the north-west for more than twenty-five years, albeit working on projects across the country.
Paul is widely experienced in acting on behalf of (public and private sector) employers, contractors, sub-contractors, consultants and suppliers in all forms of dispute resolution on contentious matters including adjudication, litigation, arbitration, expert determination and mediation.
Paul also has extensive experience in non-contentious construction and engineering matters, acting on behalf of (public and private sector) employers, contractors, sub-contractors, consultants, suppliers and lenders. Paul prepares, amends and advises on building and engineering contracts and sub-contracts (including the various forms of JCT, NEC and ICE contracts), consultant’s appointments (both bespoke and institutional forms), collateral warranties, novation agreements, security documentation, development agreements and terms and conditions.
